1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website (queenandi.com), using our online booking system (book.queenandi.com), or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Queen & i Floral Preservation ("Queen & i," "we," "us," or "our") provides floral preservation services including but not limited to shadowbox displays, resin preservation, pressed flower art, cyanotype prints, and bas relief. Services are provided from our studio at 11328 Dockside Circle, Reston, VA 20191.
3. Appointments & Booking
Appointments may be booked online at book.queenandi.com or by contacting us directly. By booking an appointment you agree to the following:
- You will provide accurate contact information including your name, email, and cell phone number
- You will arrive at the scheduled time or notify us in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule
- Appointment times are held exclusively for you — last-minute cancellations affect our ability to serve other clients
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans change. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time using the link provided in your confirmation email or text, or by contacting us directly at dan@queenandi.com. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible.
5. SMS Text Message Communications
By providing your cell phone number when booking an appointment, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Queen & i Floral Preservation at the number provided. Message frequency varies, typically 3–4 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply.
SMS communications from Queen & i may include:
- Appointment confirmation messages sent immediately upon booking
- Reminder messages sent 24 hours before your appointment
- Morning-of reminder messages sent at 9:00am on the day of your appointment
- Follow-up messages related to your order or service
To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. To resume, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP or email dan@queenandi.com. Opting out of SMS will not affect your appointment — we will continue to communicate via email.
We will never sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Deposits & Payment
- A deposit of $500 is required to secure your floral preservation order
- The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your service
- Final payment is due upon completion and before pickup of your finished display
- Accepted payment methods include credit card, cash, check, and Zelle
7. Flower Condition & Liability
The quality of floral preservation results depends significantly on the condition of the flowers at the time of receipt. Queen & i Floral Preservation is not responsible for results affected by:
- Flowers that were not properly refrigerated or stored prior to delivery
- Flowers that are excessively wilted, damaged, or past their prime
- Natural color changes that occur during the preservation process
- Variations inherent to the preservation method chosen
We will communicate with you about the condition of your flowers upon receipt and discuss any concerns before proceeding with preservation.
8. Turnaround Time
Turnaround times vary by service type and current order volume. We will provide you with an estimated completion timeline during your consultation. Queen & i Floral Preservation is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on queenandi.com, including photographs, designs, text, and artwork, is the property of Queen & i Floral Preservation and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Queen & i Floral Preservation's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Fairfax County, Virginia.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
