QUEEN & I
Terms & Conditions
All transactions with Queen & I - Floral Preservation LLC (“Queen & I,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing our website (queenandi.com), using our online booking system (book.queenandi.com), or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services
Queen & I provides wedding bouquet preservation services, including shadowboxes, pressed flower framing, resin preservation, and bas-relief.
2. Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your event date and secure a place on our calendar. A receipt will be sent to the email on file once the deposit has been processed.
3. Payment on File
Queen & I accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. By placing a deposit, you authorize Queen & I to keep a credit card on file and to automatically charge that card for each payment described in these Terms, including the deposit, any pickup or delivery fees, and final payment upon completion. Queen & I will notify you by email and/or text before each charge is processed. If you would like to use a different card for a future payment, it is your responsibility to contact Queen & I with the updated card information before that charge is due.
4. Agreement to Complete the Process
By placing a deposit, you agree to complete the floral preservation process in full.
If you cancel before making a display selection, your deposit will have covered the cost of preserving your flowers, and you will owe nothing further. You will receive your preserved flowers back as-is: loose, with the heads separated from the stems.
Once you make a display selection, Queen & I has already committed time, materials, and cost on your behalf. If you cancel after making a display selection, you remain liable for the final payment in full once the work is completed. If you decide you no longer want the work completed after a selection has been made, the remaining balance will still be charged, and the display will not be produced.
5. Making Your Display Selection
A “Welcome” email is sent once your reservation is confirmed, including a link to our online booking tool. You will use this tool to schedule a display-selection appointment, either by phone, using our design guide (included in the Welcome email), or in person at the studio. A display selection is required within 30 days of your event. It is your responsibility to schedule this appointment; Queen & I does not call clients as a reminder, though we do send reminder emails (see Section 8).
6. Flower Drop-off & Pickup
You may drop off your flowers at the studio after your event, or Queen & I can pick them up for an additional fee of $100 plus $0.50 per mile, round trip from Reston, VA.
If pickup is requested at the time of your initial deposit, the pickup fee is added to the $500 deposit at that time.
If pickup is requested after your deposit has already been placed, the fee will be charged separately to the card on file at that time.
A receipt will be sent to the email on file after each charge.
7. Flower Condition
If your flowers arrive dead or damaged, Queen & I will replace them as needed at no additional cost to you. The quality of preservation results depends significantly on the condition of the flowers at the time of receipt.
8. Display Selection Reminders
If a display-selection appointment has not been scheduled within two weeks of your event, Queen & I will send a reminder email. If a shadowbox, pressed, or resin selection has still not been made within 30 days of your event, an additional payment of $500 will automatically process on day 30, using the card on file, along with a further reminder email. It remains your responsibility to schedule the appointment; Queen & I does not call clients as a reminder.
9. Client Communications
Queen & I communicates with clients by both email and text message. Please add dan@queenandi.com to your safe senders list. Queen & I is not responsible for communications that are filtered into your junk or spam folder.

We will never sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes.
11. Turnaround Time
Queen & I provides, on average, a 4-month turnaround time from the date you make your display selection until your display is complete for shadowboxes, resin, and bas-relief, and a 6–9 month turnaround time for pressed flowers. Queen & I is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control.
12. Delivery or Pickup of Your Finished Display
You will use the link in the “Display Is Ready” email to schedule pickup of your finished display. If you are local and would prefer delivery instead, a flat fee of $100 plus $0.50 per mile, round trip from Reston, VA, will apply. Queen & I will confirm the delivery address, day, time, and cost before delivery, and will charge the card on file before the display is delivered. A receipt will be sent to the email on file after processing.
If four weeks pass after the “Display Is Ready” email with no pickup date scheduled, Queen & I will deliver the display at your expense, per the delivery terms above.
13. Color Change Disclosure
It is a normal part of the preservation process for flowers to change color and take on a matte appearance. Flowers keep their shape, but some color change is expected as a natural reaction to freeze-drying. Some flowers show only a slight shift; reds and pinks tend to darken, whites often become creamier or more ivory, hot pink often takes on a purplish hue, and coral or peach tones can appear pinker. Queen & I will color-correct flowers as needed.
15. Intellectual Property
All content on queenandi.com, including photographs, designs, text, and artwork, is the property of Queen & I - Floral Preservation and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Queen & I’s liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Queen & I is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
Queen & I and the client agree that the state courts of Fairfax County, Virginia, are the appropriate venue for any disputes arising from services provided to the client by Queen & I. Both parties waive the right to a trial by jury. Queen & I shall be entitled to its costs and reasonable attorney’s fees if it institutes collection action to recover sums due. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
18. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
